Welcome to my homepage. [Spanish] The main reason I developed this page is to share what I can do and want to do as a philosopher. I graduated in 1997 from the University of Navarre with a dissertation about Realism and Pragmatism in Hilary Putnam's philosophy. Since Oct. 1997, I have taught Critical Thinking, Philosophical Anthropology, and Ethical Theories and at the Facultad de Ciencias Económicas, Universidad Francisco Marroquín (Guatemala). My main area of interest is Pragmatism. I think that Peirce, James, and Dewey have remarkable views about the role and value of philosophy in present times. I am also interested in the relashionship between metaphors and moral experience. Something else: I love my students. They are my main source of inspiration. Maybe you and I share interests. If that's so, why don't you send me an e-mail? This page was last edited on 07.28.2004 |
